Select three of the following visualisations from the New York times and describe the data and layers that make up the graphic. For each layer, make sure to describe the type of geometric shape used to display the data and how the variables are mapped to perceptual properties of that shape.
Attempt to recreate two plots from the ggplot2 drills. Include your attempt and describe how it differs from the answer in the drills.
5 points per each textual description, 5 points for each plot re-creation, for a total of 25 points. To recieve the full 5 points for each recreation, you'll need to suggest an improvement to the plot.
